Abdurrazag studied in the UK as a mechanical engineer however became Libya’s pioneer in the tourism industry having started organizing the first ever groups to Libya in the early 1990’s and today his company, Winzrik Tourism Services is seen as a leader in destination management.

Ivan studied Earth Sciences at Oxford University but on his return to Malta found himself attracted to the tourism industry and gradually took over the family’s tourism and shipping business (established in 1860). Ivan grew in this environment from his childhood following both his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. Today he is enjoying using these skills in developing the cruise services business in Libya together with partner and great friend, Abdu.

Maria is a director of Mifsud Brothers and is responsible for the Shipping department, The Cruise General Sales Agency and Libya Shore Excursions. Together with Abdu, she has handled every call in Libya since our first cruise call in 2002. To date Maria has co-coordinated more than 30 calls and is very knowledgeable on itinerary planning. She flies to Libya before every call and is the point of contact for the ship’s shorex manager.

Much groundwork has gone into designing, testing and marketing our shore excursions until we finally came to operating our first call in 2002.Libya cruise Services is now considered the leading shore excursion provider in all Libya, using the most modern air-conditioned coaches with selected tourist guides.
